When it works properly, all the text is revealed and there is no additional space below the last line of text. For every generation of Excel I can remember (including 2010, which I'm using now), Excel's 'Auto Size Row' features sometimes fails to actually auto size a row when the cell contains wrapped text. One way to correct it is to select the affected cells then go to Format> Row Height - AutoFit. The program will not override manual adjustments to Row Height or Column Width. When text is changed, the fit of the row height to the amount of text present in a cell is frequently not. Answer Bob Jones AKA: CyberTaz MVP Replied on AugIt's most likely due to the Row Height having been changed manually at some point. I have a spreadsheet with many rows that were manually set to a variety of row heights. What I would also like to incorporate is running an auto-wrap function for certain columns and then have the row heights automatically adjust to fit the wrapped text, along with setting the remaining rows that do not need to be autowrapped to RowHeight = 45. You can specify a larger row height (which makes all the rows higher) or you can change your layout to a list view layout and try out the sliding fields option (visible in print and preview only).Wrap Text Does Not Adjust Row Height In Excel 2011 For Mac Download.
